Saint Joe’s – Summer 2026

Saint Joe’s is excited to offer a transformative Summer Camp experience designed specifically for individuals with developmental disabilities. Tailored for students in grades 6–12, our program blends recreation, education, and community connection in a safe, supportive, and joyful environment. We are seeking an experienced Summer Camp Manager to lead and oversee this rewarding program.

Program Overview

Our camp includes three two‑week sessions featuring a variety of enriching, inclusive activities:

  • Recreation & Leisure:
    Creative, social, and relaxing activities that inspire engagement
  • Educational Field Trips:
    Visits to museums, the zoo, and other exciting destinations
  • Therapeutic Swimming:
    Adaptive swimming sessions in a therapeutic pool
  • Library Story Time:
    Interactive storytelling hosted by the Cincinnati Public Library
  • Hikes with Luke5

    Adventures:
    Guided, accessible hikes supported by adaptive equipment
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the camp program
  • Supervise and support camp staff, providing clear direction and leadership
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants
  • Coordinate and manage scheduled activities, including field trips and recreational events
  • Address challenges with strong judgment, diplomacy, and problem‑solving skills
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Intervention Specialist License preferred
Skills & Abilities
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Experience working with multi‑handicapped individuals preferred
  • Self‑directed, motivated, and able to guide others effectively
  • Strong communication, judgment, and problem‑solving abilities
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications required
  • Valid driver’s license (fewer than 6 points) and vehicle liability insurance required
  • Willingness to drive company vehicles
