Job Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain application programs to achieve the requirements and objectives of the client group.
  • May be responsible for one or more of the following:
    • Client functionality for websites and web application programs;
    • Server functionality for websites and other application programs;
    • Server‑to‑server functionality for application programs, for all or part of an assigned project.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines and provide estimates for planned work.
  • Consult with users or other IT professionals to resolve issues with application programs.
  • Develop business knowledge and customer relationships.
  • Work independently on complex matters, applying advanced technical skill in design, development, and testing.
  • Apply multiple skillsets across more than one technical or business area.
  • Review and design new or updated application programs.
  • Keep team and management informed of results, providing timely technical feedback.
  • Demonstrate project management skills and effective written, quantitative, and verbal communication.
  • Act as a team member, updating technical status reports and assisting/train junior staff when necessary.
  • Review innovative ideas and technical solutions proposed by the department.
  • Translate complex business and technical needs into specific department objectives.
  • Review architectural solutions proposed by the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • .NET languages, preferably C#.
  • Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Team player who excels in a collaborative environment
Ideal Qualifications
  • Test automation, unit testing, and code coverage frameworks.
  • Comfortable working with an Agile development methodology.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Passionate about continuously improving organizational practices.
