An established & successful Engineering company located Cincinnati, Ohio, USA who specialize in the industry for Space, Aerospace, Navigation, GPS/GNSS is now hiring a brand new Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the team and to be working on innovative technology.

Salary on offer:

The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Embedded Software Engineer is $150,000 - $175,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will need to be a USA Citizen or be a Permanent Resident.

Summary of the Senior Electrical Engineer Role:

The successful Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation and validation of a state-of-the-art embedded timing, positioning and navigation software with GNSS, IMUs and other navigation sensors to deliver RTK positions. The ideal Senior Embedded Software Engineer will have present and prior experience of GPS/GNSS, high-precision positioning, navigation, and timing applications, Geomatic Applications, Aerospace, Space, Sensor Fusion, Kalman Filtering, Accuracy Enhancement etc.

• Education – BSEE or MSEE degree in Computer Science, Electrical or equivalent
• 5-7+ years industry professional experience
• Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
• Experience of GNSS & RTK firmware development
• Experience of designing or optimizing algorithms for positioning and sensor fusion
• Understand complicated GNSS, INS and navigation algorithms, their implementation in software, and their optimization for efficient operation
• Excellent understanding of software development life cycles and use of related tools (issue tracking, git, Jenkins or Git Lab, design documentation, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of embedded software engineering (memory management, linking process, firmware startup, Realtime OS).
• Geomatic Applications, Aerospace Applications, GNSS+INS Tight Integration, AntI-Spoofing & Anti Jamming – Bonus
• Industry experience – GNSS receivers, GPS, Geomatic Applications, Aerospace, Space, Sensor Fusion, Kalman Filtering
