This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and Dev Ops principles.

• Design,develop,andsupportscalablesoftwaresolutionsthatenable CorePointAI capabilitiesacrosstheenterprise.
• Buildandmaintain APIs,
  microservices,
  and
  cloud-native
  applications utilizingmodernsoftwareengineeringpractices.
• Developintegrationsthatsupport AI-powered,
  data-driven
  applications andenterpriseautomationinitiatives.
• Designandimplement Retrieval
  Augmented
  Generation (RAG) solutions,includingdocumentingestion,embeddings,vector search,andpromptengineering.
• Collaborate with Product
  Management
  Engineering
  Data
  and
  AI
  teams totranslatebusinessrequirementsintotechnicalsolutions.
• Participate in architecture
  reviews,
  technical
  design
  discussions,
  code
  reviews,
  testing,
  and
  deployment
  activities .
• Driveadoptionof Dev Ops,
  CI/CD
  automated
  testing,
  monitoring,
  and
  operational
  excellence practicesacrosstheengineeringlifecycle.
• Ensuresolutionsmeetenterprisestandardsfor security,
  scalability,
  performance,
  reliability,
  and
  responsible
  AI
  governance .

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of relevant experience

• Strongproficiencyin Java,
  Python,
  or
  similar
  object-oriented
  programming
  languages withexperiencedevelopingenterpriseapplications.
• Hands‑onexperiencebuilding RESTful
  APIs,
  microservices
  architectures,
  and
  cloud-native
  solutions .
• Expertise with Microsoft
  Azure ,including development,deployment,andoperationalsupportofcloud-based applications.
• Experiencedesigningandsupporting RAG
  architectures ,includingdocumentprocessing,chunking strategies,embeddings,vector search,andpromptoptimization.
• Knowledge of Large
  Language
  Models (LLMs),
  Generative
  AI
  technologies,
  and
  enterprise
  AI
  solution
  patterns .
• Strongunderstandingof Dev Ops,
  CI/CD
  pipelines,
  Git
  Infrastructure
  as
  Code,
  and
  automated
  testing
  frameworks .
• Experience with Azure
  OpenAI,
  Azure
  AI
  Search ,
  Semantic
  Kernel,
  Lang Chain ,
  or
  comparable
  AI
  frameworks
  and
  services .
• Knowledge of vector
  databases,
  enterprise
  search
  platforms,
  AI
  security,
  model
  governance,
  responsible
  AI
  practices,
  and
  enterprise
  software
  delivery .

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
