About the DepartmentThe University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics competes at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics with the vision to reach Next Level Success for all 18 varsity teams and more than 450 student‑athletes. The Bearcats have a proud athletics history, winning eight national championships and 118 conference titles. The Cincinnati men’s basketball team is among the 15 winningest programs all‑time, while the football team became the first non‑Power Five program to compete in the College Football Playoff in 2021.
Olympic gold medalist volleyball player Jordan Thompson, NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson and Major League Baseball legend Sandy Koufax are among the several luminaries who have competed as Bearcats.

Job OverviewThe University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for Quality Control Personnel (Sports Program Associate) to work with the Football program. As many as five vacancies may be filled.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist the program by coordinating and assisting in daily preparation and operations in the Offensive, Defensive or Special Teams room while following all departmental, university, conference, and NCAA policies and regulations.
The position requires evening and weekend work hours and travel with the team.
Essential FunctionsResponsible for all aspects of any of the following functions within a sport program:
- Quality Control (provides support to the Offensive, Defensive, and/or Special Teams coaches through film breakdown, evaluation of student‑athletes and play development)
- Identify program needs and implement program improvements.
- Collaborate with staff to perform administrative tasks in line with program and departmental goals. Serve as ambassador of the program and look for opportunities to connect the program to the community and business partners.
- May be required to drive a university vehicle and/or student‑athletes.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non‑exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
