Commissary Lead

The Commissary Lead ensures picking efficiency and oversees the Commissary team of Fresh Pickers as well as managing administrative tasks within the ERP system. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Retrieves orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy.
• Builds pallets with orders and positions them to loading docks.
• Operates hand pallet jack in and around warehouse.
• Wrap orders if needed before loading on trucks.
• Ensures that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped on routes daily.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.
• Moves trucks as needed for loadout; and operates yard tractor to move trailers.
• Works proficiently in the ERP system and understands all functions pertaining to Commissary processes.
• Prints Pick Pages Daily – Prints Delivery Tickets Daily – Updates and manages Inventory as required.
• Can perform all job duties in the cooler.
• Trains all new Fresh Picker employees.
• Can problem solve and communicate with Safety, Quality and Efficiency to al team members.
• Holds daily team meetings.
• Unloads all delivery trailers and route trucks.
• Can operate the forklift and rider electric jack.
• All other duties as assigned.
