Logistics Lead – Cincinnati
Position Summary:
This role involves checking and verifying the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting tires for customer orders. The Logistics Lead (LL) provides additional leadership in Tire Hub Logistics Centers (TLC), maintains safe driving practices, delivers exceptional customer service, fosters strong customer relationships, and represents Tire Hub professionally. The LL also operates Tire Hub vehicles to distribute tires as needed.
- Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery service, and vehicle maintenance.
- Route and delegate tasks to Logistics Specialists in a dispatch-like format.
- Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
- Completes tasks related to customer service and warehouse duties.
- Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders, ensuring proper staging according to the bin locator system and safety standards.
- Operates order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment while ensuring safety guidelines.
- Performs cycle counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents, including annual physical inventories.
- Oversees unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking of tires, ensuring safety guidelines are met.
- Communicates daily operational summaries to Leadership, including employee, safety, and operational overviews.
- Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
- Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
- Conducts pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections daily and reports any operational issues or mechanical defects.
- Reports driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
- Ensures compliance with Tire Hub policies, procedures, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Participates in ongoing training through in‑class, in‑person, or computer‑based learning modules.
- Completes other tasks assigned by leadership as necessary.
- Optimizes work processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Manages ambiguity and operates effectively when outcomes are uncertain.
- Drives results consistently, even under tough circumstances.

- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving history and a valid driver’s license (not a permit).
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with general warehousing, including proper placement of received and shipped products.
- Capable of frequent bending, pulling, rolling, twisting, and lifting.
- Multitasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to use computer‑based programs, including iPad.
- Accurately and efficiently loads, unloads, and places tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Operates at heights up to 35 feet while tethered.
- Follows traffic rules and safely operates Tire Hub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations.
- Works independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Roadnet, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Maintains a Tire Hub‑sponsored forklift certification and a valid driver’s license.
- Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs. or more, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Regular standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing required.
- Extended periods working on a computer and performing repetitive key‑boarding activities.
- Might handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment such as gloves and eyewear.
- Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Works in varying environments, from non‑climate‑controlled warehouses to customer locations.
- Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) with little to no advanced notice.
