Hope In Motion Airstream Driver

(Seasonal hourly position that runs from April through October)

Would you like an opportunity to drive one of the most innovative women's health education tools in the area? The Hope in Motion Transportation Specialist works in collaboration with the Education Coordinator to drive the PRG truck and Airstream trailer (trailer length is 33') to assigned locations. With the support of the Education Coordinator,a PRG staff member or a Hope in Motion volunteer, the Transportation Specialist would also prepare the unit for operation.

Locations can vary from hospitals, businesses, community health fairs, or similar locations. Additionally, the Transportation Specialist is responsible for the storage and maintenance of the units and ensures that they are well-maintained.

• Driving the Hope in Motion to various locations in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus
• Drive the Hope in Motion to and from the designated areas, complying with all motor codes and regulations
• Complies with departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code
• Prepares the Hope in Motion to receive staff and visitors (setting up safety cones, hooking up a generator, turning on lights, etc)
• Demonstrates excellent customer service with staff and visitors
• Provides cleaning services during and after daily use of the Hope in Motion or as directed, including refueling truck and fuel tanks for the generator
• Secures the Hope in Motion at approved location site
• Maintains mobile clinic maintenance records
• Report minor mechanical preventative maintenance needs to the Education Coordinator
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work some evenings and weekend
• For insurability purposes, must be at least 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment and regularly scheduled post-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) inquiries.
• Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
• Have a passion for the PRG mission.

• Experience driving and backing large vehicles such as recreational vehicles, motor homeor school bus
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
