Warehouse Associate

Description JOB SUMMARY

The Parts Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, checking, storing, and pulling equipment parts while preparing and processing various documents and computer entries related to shipping, receiving and inventory controls.

• Utilize the business system to process receipt transactions on all received parts
• Deliver parts and documentation to service department personnel
• Match and file packing slip and purchase order documentation
• Ensure all miscellaneous vendor receipts are matched to a "Purchase Order" and filed in the correct vendor file.
• Pull parts from assigned warehouse locations and prepares for shipping

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and cross train in various areas of the department.
• Work closely and in the spirit of cooperation
• Additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience working in a warehouse environment.
• 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, or in the parts department
• Forklift certified - preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good analytical and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines with informational accuracy, and ability to work well under stress
• High degree of self-motivation and independent decision making
