Job Summary

The Process Technician supports manufacturing operations by monitoring, adjusting, and improving production processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. This role works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, reduce scrap, and maintain consistent process performance. This position is 2nd shift!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and process stability
  • Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment and process parameters to meet production requirements
  • Identify and resolve process-related issues, including defects, downtime, and inefficiencies
  • Collect and analyze process data to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with process validations, trials, and new product or tooling launches
  • Support quality initiatives by ensuring compliance with work instructions, control plans, and specifications
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Work with maintenance to coordinate equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Train and support operators on proper process setup and best practices
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to process settings, changes, and improvements
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred
  • Previous experience as a Process Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and process documentation
  • Basic computer skills and experience with data entry or process tracking systems
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
