Position: Graduate Assistant – Men’s Soccer
Location: Main Campus
Employment Type: Part‑time (20 hrs/week, 12 months/year)
The Graduate Assistant for Men’s Soccer will report to the Head Soccer Coach(es) and help oversee all aspects of operating a successful Intercollegiate Men’s Soccer program. The GA will assist with student‑athlete skill instruction, team and game preparation, administrative responsibilities, and compliance with NCCAA rules.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesStudent‑Athlete Skill Instruction
:
Assist the Head Coach in teaching basic and advanced soccer skills during individual skill sessions, team practices, and strength and conditioning sessions.
Team and Game Preparation
:
Assist in developing a comprehensive game plan for each contest, evaluating opponents, preparing scouting reports, and making adjustments during contests.
Administrative Responsibilities
:
Organize and coordinate travel, meet scheduling, budget prep, office administration, academics, compliance, facility usage, public relations, marketing, style guide, fundraising, community engagement, and summer camps.
NCCAA Rules Compliance
:
Maintain knowledge of, and adherence to, all NCCAA rules and regulations pertaining to recruiting, eligibility, and general operation of the program.

- Game management
- Other duties as assigned to assist the coaching staff and Athletic Director
Minimum Qualifications
According to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree - Previous experience in athletics (event management, scheduling, media, management of student workers, knowledge of sports and sporting events, facilities)
- Experience in spiritual mentoring and development
