PT DIOBENI MEBEL INDONESIA is seeking an experienced QC Manager to oversee quality performance across our furniture manufacturing operations in Cirebon, West Java

The position will lead the QC function, strengthen quality controls throughout production, and ensure finished products consistently meet customer and export-market expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and improve quality control procedures across receiving, production, finishing, packing, and final inspection.

Lead, coach, and evaluate the QC team to ensure consistent inspection standards and strong team performance.

Verify that products meet approved specifications, workmanship standards, and customer requirements before shipment.

Investigate defects, non-conformities, and customer complaints, and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented.

Track quality performance, including rejection, rework, and recurring defects, and initiate improvement programs.

Work with Purchasing and suppliers to improve the quality of materials, components, and outsourced products.

Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with applicable quality, safety, and export requirements.

Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, and other teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of QA/QC experience in furniture manufacturing, ideally within an export-oriented company.

Demonstrated experience leading and developing a QC team.

Good understanding of furniture construction, materials, finishing, packaging, and production processes.

Knowledge or experience in rattan furniture manufacturing is an advantage.

Knowledge of US and European market requirements and familiarity with SEDEX, FSC, CARB, Prop 65, CPSIA, and TSCA.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.

Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
