This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded proposition, product, or partnerships professional to influence strategic direction, lead provider selection and panel development activity, and help ensure our clients have access to market‑leading solutions that deliver outstanding outcomes.

About the role:

Working within our Third‑Party Products and Services team, you'll take ownership of the development and evolution of our third‑party panel. You'll use market insight, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking to identify opportunities, drive innovation, and ensure our proposition remains competitive, relevant, and aligned to client needs.

From leading provider sourcing and tender processes to developing compelling business cases and influencing senior decision‑makers, you'll play a key role in delivering both commercial success and positive client outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Shaping the strategic direction of the third‑party panel through market insight, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Leading the prioritisation of panel development activity in line with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
  • Conducting market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and provider capabilities.
  • Developing and presenting business cases for new products, services, and panel enhancements.
  • Leading end‑to‑end provider sourcing, selection, and retendering exercises.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing management of panel providers.
  • Driving partner engagement through communications, consultation activity, and events.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and ambassador for the panel, building awareness, understanding, and adoption across the business.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced proposition, product, partnerships, or supplier management professional who can combine strategic thinking with strong delivery capabilities.

Experience
  • Experience in product, proposition, panel, or partnership development within financial services.
  • Knowledge of advice‑led product and service markets, such as mortgages, lending, banking, wealth management, or related sectors.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with third‑party providers and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence at executive level.
  • Experience leading sourcing, tender, or third‑party provider selection processes.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty.
  • The ability to analyse complex commercial opportunities and develop compelling recommendations.
