Field Technician

Are you interested in construction materials testing? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Field Technician, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Field Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in site and laboratory testing of construction materials, along with knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices, is essential to thrive in this position.

Responsibilities
  • Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory
  • Completion of test sheets, including all calculations
  • Production of reports in line with QA systems
Qualifications
  • Health & safety focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you
