SEN Teaching Assistant
Location:
Cirencester
Salary: £92 - £105 per day
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting SEN learners to join a school setting in Cirencester. This is an exciting new opportunity for someone who wants to persue a new, rewarding career in education while making a difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teaching and support staff to provide tailored classroom, group and 1:1 support to learners who may require additional academic, emotional or behavioural support. You will play an important role in creating a safe and engaging environment where every learner has the opportunity to thrive.

Start ASAP
£92+ per day (Depending on Experience)
Term time only
Clear DBS (or willingness to apply)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group and classroom support to a range of learners across the day.
Support learners with their learning, development and aid classroom engagement.
Build positive and trusting relationships with learners.
Encourage continued positive behaviour choices, confidence and independence.
Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment for everyone.
Follow all policies and procedures on a daily basis.
We are looking for someone who is:
Caring, patient and adaptable.
Passionate about supporting learning and young people to succeed.
Confident building positive relationships with learners.
Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
Willing to learn and develop through training and hands on experience.
Able to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
Experienced working with children or young people is beneficial, but not essential.
An Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
