Hatherop Castle School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within Key Stage 2 and Key Stage
3. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving co-educational day and boarding prep school and nursery, set within the heart of the Cotswolds and part of the Wishford Education Group.

Working closely with the class teachers, SENCo and wider pastoral team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting a pupil's academic, social and emotional development, helping them to engage fully in school life and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil within Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENCo and parents to help the pupil access learning, develop confidence, build independence and make excellent progress across all areas of school life.
This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or qualified teacher with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Experience of supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including neurodiversity, would be advantageous.
This is a term-time only position.
