At Fairford C of E Primary School, we are looking for an exceptional KS2 teacher who shares our ambition to provide children with thevery best education.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2024 confirmed that Fairford had maintained the standards identified at its previous Outstanding inspection .Fairford was described as a remarkable school and recognised the strong sense of belonging experienced by our pupils.

2024 Ofsted inspection recognised a school in which pupils are proud to belong,behaviour is excellent and children work exceptionally hard.

Inspectors identified a palpable love of learning across theschool and recognised that pupils’ knowledge develops exceptionally well. Our curriculum is highly ambitious, carefully planned from Nursery through to Year6 and supported by professional development that enables teachers to deliver itwith expertise.

Reading and language are particularly important to us.

Children are immersed in a language-rich environment from Nursery onwards,vocabulary development is prioritised and pupils understand and celebrate thevalue of reading.

We have been recognised for the strength of our inclusive practice. Pupils who need additional support receive it quickly, and pupils with SEND flourish alongside their peers.

Education at Fairford is about much more than academic outcomes. Our children are encouraged to become articulate, confident and thoughtful young people. They take on leadership roles, participate in debate sand mock trials, enjoy a wide range of clubs and enrichment opportunities andlearn to contribute to their wider community.
