North London A well-established, specialist development finance lender is seeking a highly capable and motivated Director to join its development finance team. This is a high-profile origination role, ideal for a strong performer with existing development finance experience from either a bank or non-bank lending background.

Key Responsibilities Generate new development finance opportunities by building and managing relationships with developers, brokers/intermediaries and property professionals Originate and structure development finance opportunities Manage the underwriting and credit process for new transactions Oversee drawdowns and redemptions, ensuring the loan portfolio performs consistently Build and/or manage a small team to support origination targets and portfolio management Skills & Experience A strong, established track record of originating development finance opportunities and managing a loan portfolio Excellent communication skills for dealing with borrowers, brokers and intermediaries Confident presenting credit papers to credit committee and senior management Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of stakeholders Strong knowledge of development appraisals and structuring development finance facilities Understanding of the credit underwriting process, including legal process, valuations and monitoring surveyor reports Personal Attributes Team player, proactive, organised, a strong problem-solver, approachable, hard-working, flexible, articulate and calm under pressure.
