Female Team Leader
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £32,760 per annum (£17.50 per hour)
Hours: 36 hours (3 shifts per week)
Shift patterns: 7:30 am‑7:30 pm, 7:30 pm‑7:30 am
Paid travel expenses: 25p per mile / public transport (bus/train only)
Assessment Day: Gloucester 21 January 2026, 9:00 – 17:00
Requirements- Full UK driving licence (essential – you’ll enjoy trips out & driving the client’s vehicle!)
- Clear Enhanced DBS on DBS update service
- Proven experience supporting individuals with severe challenging behaviour
- Must be resilient, highly confident, and adaptable to change
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible to attend training by 23 February 2026
- First shift: 2 March 2026
Our care team is looking for a friendly and passionate Team Leader to guide a small team of Support Workers, supporting one wonderful individual with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, FND, and Gastroparesis in their home in Cheltenham. The role balances leading the team and providing direct, hands‑on support.
Responsibilities- 12 hours a week spent leading and supporting the team – organising rotas, fostering colleague growth, ensuring safety and smooth operation.
- 24 hours a week working alongside the team – delivering direct support and creating uplifting daily moments.
- Experience leading or supervising within health or social care.
- Calm, kind, confident, able to make decisions.
- Understand complex care, allergies, and challenging behaviours.
- Loves encouraging others and building positive relationships.
