Shift Pattern: Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (8 hours per day)
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: 6 Months Fixed Term

We are looking for Manufacturing Assistants to join our Manufacturing team on a 6-month fixed-term contract
.
This role is perfect for college/university students, recent graduates, or anyone looking for weekend work around existing weekday commitments. No previous manufacturing experience is required as full training will be provided.
As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will:- Carry out shot blasting and linishing/polishing processes on orthopaedic implants
- Follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions
- Handle components carefully to maintain quality standards
- Complete production records accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work as part of a team to meet production targets
- Follow all health, safety and quality requirements
- A good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Strong manual dexterity and an interest in hands-on work
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A reliable and proactive approach
Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to attend a 1-day induction on a Monday and a 1-day training session during the week before starting weekend shifts.
