SOCOTEC’s Environment and Safety team provides expert environmental, health and safety consultancy and compliance services that help organisations manage risk, protect people and safeguard the environment. Our services include environmental monitoring and consultancy, water safety and hygiene solutions with legionella risk assessments and water system management, fire safety consultancy and inspections, occupational hygiene assessments and workplace exposure monitoring, and specialist advisory support on regulatory and sustainability challenges.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Environmental Monitoring Technician to join our Water and Environment team. The role requires the confidence to work independently and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Undertake environmental and water sampling across multiple client sites
• Carry out legionella monitoring, compliance inspections and site observations
• Produce technical reports and maintain accurate records

• Science‑based qualification and full UK driving licence
• Strong organisational, communication and IT skills
• Ability to work safely across varied and safety‑critical sites
