HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – South Cerney – £17.03–£25.54 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join our client's growing waste and recycling operation based in South Cerney and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering £17.03–£25.54 per hour, Monday-to-Friday working, early morning starts, weekly pay, ongoing work and full training.

£17.03–£25.54 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 06:30 Starts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Full Training This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Refuse Collection Driver, Refuse Truck Driver or Waste Collection Driver. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 06:30 start times Rates of Pay • £17.03–£25.54 per hour
• PAYE – holiday pay accrued separately

• Opportunity to make a positive impact within the local community Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
• Driving HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles safely along assigned routes
• Operating bin-lifting equipment to empty waste and recycling containers
• Working safely as part of a collection crew and following loading signals
• Ensuring waste and recycling collections are completed efficiently
• Following health and safety procedures, particularly when operating in public areas
• Recording and reporting missed bins, contamination and access issues Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category C (Class
2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• Reliable, professional and punctual approach to work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of road safety and transport compliance
• Ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding environment

Desirable Experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Previous HGV Class 2 refuse collection or waste management driving experience
• Experience working outdoors or in physically demanding roles Training Provided
• Full industry-related training provided
