Forklift & Warehouse Operative – Aston Down Airfield
Our client is looking for an experienced Forklift Truck and Warehouse Operative to join their team based at Aston Down Airfield. This is a permanent role where you will work as part of a small warehouse team to achieve daily and weekly targets.
Key Responsibilities- Operating a forklift truck (counterbalance)
- Receiving goods and materials
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and materials across the warehouse
- Preparing orders
- Completing manual handling and general warehouse duties
- Maintaining housekeeping standards
- Record keeping and stocktaking
- Counterbalance FLT certificate (preferred)
- Previous warehousing experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Self‑motivated and reliable
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Benefits:
Pension scheme and healthcare scheme (after 1 year’s service)
Probation period: 3 months
