About the Company: We are a growing and well-established company in the construction industry, seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support our financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills who is ready to step into a visible and impactful position. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll manage core accounting functions, contribute to financial reporting, and support internal controls and compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Manage daily accounting tasks: GL, A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
• Perform and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assist with external audit preparation and support compliance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll-related entries and reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and implement accounting best practices.
• Work closely with leadership on financial strategy and operational insights.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of accounting experience; leadership exposure or desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting, GAAP, and financial reporting.
• Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Quick Books, ERP systems, etc.).
