Concentra invites applications for a Spine Surgeon Independent 1099 role.
OverviewConcentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, seeks an orthopedic spine surgeon for on‑site services as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position complements your current practice, typically involving a 4‑hour shift weekly or bi‑weekly.
Concentra Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, focusing on rapid return to work and functional restoration. You will provide both non‑surgical and surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care, collaborate with medical and therapy providers, and engage in case management with employers.
Responsibilities- Half a day per week or biweekly
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate your private practice
Compensation is determined by a revenue share model.
Qualifications- Preferred experience treating patients with work‑related injuries
- State licensure
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Unrestricted DEA license in state of jurisdiction
- Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
- Medical malpractice insurance covering on‑site duties
