Mead & Hunt is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Building Engineering team as a Plumbing Engineer. This opportunity is available at Milwaukee, WI;

Dallas, TX; and Bloomington, MN. The position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, requiring at least three days per week onsite at our office—an excellent opportunity to enjoy both in‑office collaboration and remote flexibility.
- Lead the plumbing design of multiple projects of various sizes.
- Prepare reports and studies.
- Select, specify, and estimate costs of plumbing system equipment and fixtures.
- Perform calculations as required.
- Conduct periodic construction site inspections.
- Supervise staff on project teams.
- Other tasks as assigned.
A valid driver’s license and approximately up to 25% travel will be required.
Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
- At least six years of relevant plumbing engineering experience.
- PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states.
- Leading plumbing design of complex projects including fire suppression/sprinkler, compressed air/gas, laboratory water/gas, and medical gas design.
- Performing calculations for system layout and sizing.
- Using Revit to create bid document drawings.
- Designing systems for federal government projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing, fire protection, and building codes.
- CPD certification from ASPE is preferred.
