BELL PERSON – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento

Under the direction of the Hotel Manager, the incumbent is responsible for meeting and greeting guests upon arrival and departure, providing luggage and transportation assistance, site tours, and supporting all departments in accordance with company standards.

• Greets arriving and departing guests in a positive, upbeat manner.
• Provides guests with general information such as directions, promotional information, valet information, etc.
• Assists guests with luggage upon arrival and departure, adhering to Forbes Standards.
• Provides a room orientation and fulfills any guest requests.
• Provides information on site tours.
• Offers lobby door assistance.
• Supports all departments—especially Front Desk, Valet, Player Development, Sales, and Marketing—in customer service needs.
• Promotes positive guest/employee relations.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
• Performs other assignments as directed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred with one year of bell/door experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

• The casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced, crowded, and noisy; may be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors including secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to the general public.
• Must communicate effectively with guests in English, as required by the position duties.
• Must be able to pull a 100‑lb cart.

• Communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
• Observe and direct actions of bar attendants and maintain inspected areas.
• Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
• Review and comprehend drink recipes and other necessary documentation.
• Move efficiently around the bar area.
• Retrieve supplies and maintain a clean working area.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts and schedules as needed.
• Operate in an environment with varying levels of noise and crowd volume.
• Obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
