DVM: Associate Veterinarian

Awell-established partner hospital in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate DVM to grow within a collaborative and supportive environment. You’ll work alongside a passionate team that values quality care, client education, and fostering lasting relationships with pet owners.

• Patient Care:
  Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnostics, treatments, and preventive health measures for small animals.

• Surgical Procedures:
  Perform a variety of surgeries, including routine and emergency procedures.

• Client Communication:
  Educate pet owners on treatment plans, preventative care, and overall pet wellness.

• Record Keeping:
  Maintain accurate and compliant medical records for all patients.

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from an accredited veterinary school

• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California

• Clinical experience in a veterinary setting with proficiency in medical and surgical procedures

• Passion for client education and building strong, trusting relationships with pet owners

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
