Description

RN – Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full time night shift position. Hours are 7pm-7:30am (3, 12 hour shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays.

Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living.

  • Night shift differential – $4.5 p/hr
  • Weekend shift differential -$1.4 p/hr

Accountable for direct and indirect quality care for resident, according to the individualized needs of the resident, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Accepts professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. Coordinates resident care activities with other members of the health care team, and supervises the nursing care given.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position upon hire.
