In the role of PTHP Lecturer in Education and Early Years and Health and Social Care, you'll predominantly be based at Springfield Campus, Dewsbury and your focus will be on delivering outstanding teaching and learning sessions to a wide range of students, including adults, 16-18-year-olds, and those studying introductory courses.
Responsibilities- Delivery of classes and sessions aligned to the course and qualification specifications, in an engaging and innovative manner.
- Use industry experience to add to the content and contextualise it to support students' understanding.
- Collaborate with all department colleagues and associated departments to drive teaching of students and their support toward excellence.
- L5+ industry related qualification (or equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in the education and early years sector/health and social care sector.
- Effective communication skills, ability to engage with young people, and demonstration of college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
