We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Clacton-on-Sea who are looking to add a Warehouse Operative to their team.

This role would suit someone with previous warehouse, stores or manufacturing experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including goods in and goods out, loading and unloading deliveries, stock checks and supplying materials to the production team.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Checking and counting incoming stock
• Goods In and Goods Out duties
• Supplying materials to production areas
• Picking, moving and storing stock safely
• Carrying out stock checks and cycle counts
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Ensuring stock is correctly stored and labelled
• Carrying out quality checks on incoming materials
• Investigating stock discrepancies
• Working closely with warehouse and production teams
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

The ideal Warehouse Operative will have:

• Previous experience within a warehouse, stores or manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
