Hours: 8:00 pm – 6:00 am

General Overview: Performs all functions related to polysomnographic exams and multiple sleep latency testing to provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Functions under licensed medical direction.

• Performs all polysomnograms and MSLTs according to clinical practice guidelines, departmental policy and procedures, and may score test results.
• Maintains proper calibration, quality control and analysis of all polysomnographic equipment.
• Organizes and prioritizes workload and scheduling of patient testing efficiently and effectively.
• Assists with billing documentation and maintains department records.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

• CPR – American Heart Association.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Graduate of polysomnography course or completion of an approved sleep lab training program.
• Basic EEG course.
• RPSGT, CRT, RRT or LPN.
• Sleep study testing experience.
