This full time position will have oversight and rotate to multiple locations including JMA, Bethel, Waterfront and Brentwood offices.
Provides supervision of staff and area functions; serves as a physician liaison. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities- Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department, develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. (50%)
- Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary. (20%)
- Assures all documentation for procedures, e.g. regulatory, billing protocol, and imaging distribution. (20%)
- Implements radiation safety and patient safety standards. (10%)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 3 years as an Imaging Technologist in any discipline
- Radiography Certification and Registration OR Nuclear Medical Technology Certification and Registration (NMTCB) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) issued by the (ARDMS)
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Associate’s Degree in any Imaging discipline
