As a Security Officer – Hospital Perimeter Response in Clairton, PA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will deter security‑related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will support a welcoming atmosphere.

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and healthcare site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and the surrounding perimeter to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted zones.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, supporting the healthcare facility’s protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.

• Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
