General Overview

Coordinates and facilitates the cycle‑count program for all inventories managed through the inventory system across all JRMC locations to maximize the accuracy of shelf count versus computer record. Manages patient charge program and billing reconciliation. Processes direct order item master products, tracks and expedites orders, verifies receipt, and delivers. Verifies bills of material, administers receipts into the material management system to match accounts payable invoices, and ensures proper payment to vendors.

Responsible for stock replenishment, accurate intake, storage, issuing, and delivery of materials, clean linen, equipment, and furniture. Assists the manager with projects, cost‑analysis reports, computer training, problem‑solving, equipment adjustments, and material‑management system reports. Utilizes material‑management software to interpret records and ensure inventory accuracy. Ability to lift, move, and carry items weighing more than 50 pounds, and to operate all powered equipment are required.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the integrity of inventories through scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts and system‑wide physical inventories. Maximize the accuracy of shelf count versus on‑hand computer record by selecting, conducting, and initiating daily cycle counts or performing annual physical inventories. Research discrepancies to find and correct the source of error; gather and analyze inventory usage data and adjust levels.
  • Responsible for receipt of materials, verifying materials against the bill of material, packing supplies, and online purchase orders. Administers them into the system for A/P invoice match and payment. Resolves discrepancies with Purchasing for received orders and gives work direction to others regarding receiving, shipping, storage, and delivery of materials.
  • Manages the functions of the patient charge program by administering all patient charges accurately via Invision and investigating discrepancies.
  • Processes requests for direct item master products: enters them into the system to place orders, tracks or expedites delivery, verifies receipt, and delivers. Manages orders in the system through entering, batching, releasing, and transferring orders for purchasing.
  • Responsible for stock‑keeping, replenishment, accurate intake, storage, issuing, and delivery of materials, clean linen, equipment, and furniture. Cross‑trains and rotates into all positions as necessary. Conducts par checks, prints pick lists, picks and delivers orders, puts away supplies, and issues inventory as assigned. Inputs all records, forms, and requisitions accurately into the computer system and handles discrepancies.
  • Assists the manager with detailed work on patient‑charge price comparisons; accuracy charts/spreadsheets; meeting minutes; ordering uniforms; editing forms/requisitions via material‑management software; initiating product signs, labels; mailing; installing shelving and brackets; providing technical support for bar‑code equipment; and providing training and continuous support to warehouse staff.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Prior job‑related experience of at least 1–2 years.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry items weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate all powered equipment.
  • Must be certified internally to operate powered equipment to meet OSHA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lawson, Soarian, Word/Excel.
