EPTDESIGN is seeking talented, design-oriented candidates with 5+ years of experience in landscape architecture.
Position SummaryThe Project Manager leads the coordination and delivery of projects with guidance from Associates and Principals. Serving as the primary point of contact for project execution, the Project Manager directs the work of Project Captains and Designers, ensuring all deliverables and submittals are delivered accurately and on time to EPTDESIGN standards. This role requires strong design and technical expertise in construction and building codes, effective team management, and the ability to balance design quality, schedule, and budget across multiple project phases.

General Qualifications- 5–8 years (avg.) experience in the landscape architecture profession
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture (BSLA, BLA, or MLA)
- Strong proficiency in CAD-based document production
- Familiarity with design and visualization software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Rhino, Lumion, or similar)
- Solid knowledge of construction documentation standards, detailing, and specifications
- Strong understanding of general office software and project management applications (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Deltek, Procore etc.)
- Independently manage daily and long-term project tasks with oversight from Associates and Principals
- Organize and lead effective project teams, ensuring clear schedules, accountability, and overall project success
- Serve as the primary point of coordination with the consultant team for all aspects of project
- Monitor project status, staffing, budgets, and goals in collaboration with Associates and Principals
- Completes other duties as required to support the team and the organization's goals.
- Ability to manage, coordinate, and schedule project teams across multiple projects
- Ability to understand and produce deliverables within design contracts and project fees
- Excellent presentation skills both in a public forum and small group settings
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, and building codes, with the ability to apply them effectively throughout all design phases
- A well-rounded knowledge of landscape architecture, with the ability to proactively develop conceptual designs and lead projects through construction
- Proficient in writing, graphics, CAD, and other communication tools essential to EPTDESIGN’s growth
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage personal workload while delegating tasks to and mentoring junior staff to meet deadlines within the project’s budget
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the work products prepared by the project team

- Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment such as a printer, telephone, copy machine.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists (e.g., typing, mouse use, writing, drawing).
- Ability to safely navigate active construction sites.
- Visual acuity to read printed materials, plans, and computer screens.
- Frequent communication with staff and clients; must be able to exchange accurate information clearly via email, telephone, and verbally.
- Ability to lift and carry materials or packages up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to maintain focus in an open office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Access to reliable transportation to commute to the office and for occasional travel to job sites, client meetings, or other office locations.
