What will you do?
- Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings to reflect actual and intended activities.
- Support quoting activities by participating in process design, development, and implementation.
- Evaluate and enhance inspection processes through aids and instruction guidelines.
- Develop and deliver specialized training sessions for applicable functions.
- Maintain and organize documentation files; implement systems for document storage and access.
- Performing internal audits in accordance with the Quality Management system.
- Review supplier and customer discrepancies; coordinate and track corrective/preventive actions.
- Analyze defect trends from customer, supplier, and internal sources.
- Participate in vendor surveys and support supplier process improvement efforts.
- Interface with departments to ensure compliance with ISO and other quality documentation standards.
- Provide technical and logistical support to the quality engineering team.
- Serve as a technical liaison on quality issues with customers and suppliers.
- Lead corrective action efforts using SPC data and tracking tools.
- Improve technical support capabilities within the quality organization.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, ISO standards, and documentation
