As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. In this role you implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You are a healer and a helper, adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is to execute a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities and independence.
You adapt to the needs of each patient, find joy in the variety of work settings, collaborate with peers, and make referrals to ensure the best care. You put patients first, ensuring they and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
USD $26.00 - USD $29.00 /Hr.
