At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for an Echocardiogram Technologist to join our team.

• Performs all basic adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures
• Edits tracings
• Makes measurements and enters data into the computer
• Distinguishes between normal and abnormal cardiac findings
• Performs cardiac sonographer duties to meet departmental needs, including recognizing arrhythmias and the implications of specific cardiac and related diagnoses to obtain optimal studies
• Operates complex equipment accordingly

• Minimum - Associates Degree from accredited cardiac ultrasound program or RDCS/RCS eligible background with 1 year of cardiac echo experience
• Certified through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography
• Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire
• BLS certification required
