Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN – Physicans Practice

At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for an LPN to join our team.

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN and/or physician, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment, under the supervision of an RN and/or physician, on all patients as per policy. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.
• Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management.
• Medical and surgical asepsis is carried out during treatments and special procedures.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families in accordance with office/clinic standards.

• Current LPN Licensure in State of New Hampshire
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to be flexible, organized, and function under stressful situations.
• Ability to be a self-motivated learner, to take initiative in learning many complex processes
• Exhibits professionalism at all times, understands appropriate workplace behavior/communications.
