• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Hours per Week: 36

• Weekend/Holiday Coverage:
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

• RN/Patient Ratio: 5:1 (Med Surg), 3:1–4:1 (Higher acuity PCU)

• Dress Code:
Personal scrubs of any color
PCU Travel Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a PCU Registered Nurse, Med Surg RN, or Telemetry RN (required)

• Proficient with cardiac monitoring and telemetry (required)

• Basic dysrhythmia test (required in profile)

• Previous travel nursing experience (highly preferred)

• Experience in rural or small healthcare facilities (highly preferred)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)

• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a rural hospital setting

• Must have own vehicle for assignment

• Permanent address must be included in profile

• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application (maximum 5 days for 13-week assignment)

• Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of Claremont, NH
PCU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients from newborn to geriatric populations in a progressive care unit

• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions and telemetry needs

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a rural hospital environment

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards

• Respond to changing patient acuity and adapt care plans as needed

• Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend coverage

• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and strong clinical skills in a dynamic healthcare setting
