Position SummaryThis position is responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple facilities. The employee will perform job‑related responsibilities and duties as assigned, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities- Sets up and configures various low voltage systems (security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, network cabling).
- Runs, terminates, and labels cables according to project requirements and industry standards.
- Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality; identifies and resolves issues promptly.
- Provides technical support and training to end users on operating and maintaining low voltage systems.
- Ensures all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintains accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs; generates performance reports.
- Works closely with technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicates effectively with clients to understand needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Stays abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Participates in teams, adopting and sharing resources, coordinating work assignments, and modeling change adaptation.

- Moves up and down a ladder; moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Reaches overhead and below the knees; pulls, twists, stoops.
- Safely operates a motor vehicle and large power equipment; sits for long periods; squats, kneels, crawls; stands for long periods.
- Visually inspects equipment; verifies and reads information in small print.
- Travels domestically to and from multiple facilities requiring consecutive overnight stays.
- Works or trains at multiple facilities or distant locations.
- Moves through narrow, confined spaces such as stacks of merchandise or supplies, storage areas, and closets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Prior work experience in a role requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
- Training or certification in low voltage systems.
- BICSI Installer Certification.
- CompTIA certifications for networking (e.g., Network+).
- Manufacturer‑specific certifications (e.g., Honeywell, Axis, or Bosch systems).
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification/training.
- NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification.
