Senior Accountant

Location: Claremore, OK (On-site)
Compensation: $90,000 per year

System One is hiring a Senior Accountant for a client in the Claremore area within a manufacturing environment
. This role is a key financial position responsible for complex accounting functions, cost accounting support, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will partner closely with Executive Leadership and cross‑functional teams to support operational and strategic decision‑making while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

• Manage the general ledger and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and manufacturing standards

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Support manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation and variance analysis

• Assist with inventory management within the ERP system and support operations with inventory‑related questions

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable for accuracy and timeliness

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements; prepare and file required tax returns

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls; support audits and AS9100 financial process compliance

• Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial insights for production planning and strategy

• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems used in manufacturing environments

• Advanced spreadsheet and financial analysis skills

• Ability to present complex financial information to Executive Leadership

• Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing financial practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
