Maintenance Technician responsible for safety, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and support of instrumentation and electrical systems.
You Will- Uphold safety standards and participate in safety programs.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electronic instruments and control systems throughout the plant.
- Improve safety and efficiency by tuning control loops and maintaining valves and actuators.
- Maintain and install electrical systems and motors, handling voltages up to 4160 VAC.
- Participate in HAZOPs, change management, and procurement for I & E infrastructure maintenance and design.
- Support the implementation and documentation of projects across the plant.
- Accomplish additional tasks as directed by management.
- High School Diploma/GED; post‑secondary technical education is advantageous (Instrumentation).
- Two years of relevant experience in process instrumentation and control systems.
- Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with HART instrumentation, DCS, and BMS is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Perform tasks involving valves, controls, and various equipment.
- Work in environments with extreme temperatures, vibrations, and limited ventilation.
- Exposure to noise, moving parts, electrical currents, steam, and working at heights.
- Handle chemicals, fumes, and oils safely.
- Use a respirator and emergency equipment during emergencies.
