We are seeking a Finance Officer to manage and analyze financial statements, prepare financial reports, and support strategic initiatives. This full‑time, on‑site role is located in Claremore, OK.
Role DescriptionThe Finance Officer will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate financial documentation. Provide support and counsel to the CEO and senior leadership team on financial activities and strategic initiatives. Additional responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, assisting in budget preparation, onboarding and communicating insights to stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations
- Oversee daily financial operations including cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and collections across all practice areas.
- Oversee trust accounting and adherence to multi‑state regulations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and leadership reports.
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking collections.
- Deliver rolling forecasts to support operational and growth decisions.
- Establish and enforce strong internal financial controls and separation of duties.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Identify and mitigate financial risk as the firm expands.
- Review firm expenses, subscriptions, and vendor contracts.
- Eliminate waste and improve cost discipline.
- Ensure integrity of financial data across accounting and practice management systems.
- Improve workflows to support scale and reduce manual processes.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and performing financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret financial data.
- Effective communication skills for delivering financial insights to stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in financial roles is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Numerical accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
