Travel Laboratory Medical Technologist (Lab Med Tech)

Location:

Claremore, OK

Shift: Nights – 3x12s + 1x8 (Sat/Sun/Mon – 7P–7A, every other Tue – 11P–7A)
Contract Type:
Travel | Full-Time

Join a highly skilled healthcare team as a Travel Laboratory Medical Technologist and contribute to fast-paced, patient-focused lab operations overnight. This role offers a schedule designed for work-life balance while supporting critical lab services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and analyze laboratory tests for blood, tissue, and body fluids
  • Ensure quality control and accurate documentation in compliance with lab standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide timely diagnostic information
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment, including Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics analyzers
  • Participate in cross-functional team communication to improve lab processes
Qualifications
  • Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years required
  • Certification:
    Registered Laboratory Technician with
    • American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or
    • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  • Licenses/Certifications:

    AHA BLS (in hand)
  • Experience Areas:
    Blood Bank (required), Pediatrics (required), Chemistry (Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics) (required)
  • Systems:
    Cerner Millennium & Oracle experience (required)
  • Phlebotomy skills:
    Preferred but not required
