• Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.

• Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.
• Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study.
• Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations.
• Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director.
• Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable.
• Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
• The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist required.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is required.
• Licensed Sleep Technologist is required.
• Current CPR (BCLS) Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Scoring experience preferred.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred.
