Description
Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. Hadco offers plate, sheet, and extensive long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our precision cutting equipment includes water jets, band saws, CNC machines, and shears.
As a Saw Machine Operator
, you will be responsible for cutting aluminum, stainless steel, engineering grade plastic, and other alloys to meet customer specifications.
Work Schedule
: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM.
- Operate manual and/or CNC machinery to accurately cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Use quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers to perform basic dimensional tolerances.
- Monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes.
- Continually measure workpiece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy.
- Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.
- Math skills, including measuring with fractions and decimals.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
- Familiar with basic computer systems.
