Position Description
Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver. We want the right trucker to join us at Ryder in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Pay & Schedule- Weekly Guaranteed pay of $1,094 per week
- Hourly pay: $27.36 per hour
- 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, no weekends
- Start times: 3:00 AM or 6:00 AM rotating
- Deliver SOLO to OK, KS, AR, occasionally MO
- Local Home Daily route
- Tractor type:
Day Cab and 28' Stake Truck - Trailer:
Conestoga 53' and pup 30' - Freight:
No‑Touch hardware equipment, load securement (metal sheets, rods, tubes); occasional tarping, chaining, hand‑carried items
Trucks 36 months or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance, company fuel at over 800 national facilities.

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification of last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A tractor‑trailer experience with one of the following: 9 months within last 3 years; 2 years within last 5 years; 5 years within last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Some positions may require additional screening: employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, badging or background requirements of the customer assigned.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
- Load/unload freight or assist loading/unloading as required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
