NOW HIRING! PART-TIME COACHES (4-16 HOURS/WEEK)! COACHES NEEDED WEEKDAYS AND EVENINGS!
We are seeking passionate individuals looking to work with children ages 2-8 years old in an energetic and fun environment.
Soccer Shots is a growing program with a strong curriculum and a team of passionate coaches aiming to impact children's lives. Join us for rewarding work, professional development, and opportunities for advancement. Our sessions are held in community centers, preschools, and daycares across DuPage County during Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
We offer flexible scheduling and paid training to ensure we select the best candidates.
Ideal candidate qualities:
- Responsible: Punctuality, ability to manage groups of 5-10 children, effective communication with Soccer Shots leaders.
- Professional: Neat appearance, approachable demeanor for parents and staff.
- Experienced: Proven experience engaging young children; soccer experience is a plus but not required.
- Creative: Ability to be goofy and imaginative with children.
- Background: Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and medical exam per DCFS standards.
- Reliable transportation and daily access to the internet with a phone/computer.
Our training and standards:
- Complete comprehensive training to receive certification.
- Trained in developmentally appropriate techniques.
- Regular evaluations and ongoing training.
- Created under guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and licensed coaches.
Working with children is a significant responsibility. We seek individuals who enjoy and are passionate about positively impacting children, helping them gain confidence both on and off the field.
